Hallway fluorescent retrofit...(Click on a photo to see larger image)
Standard hallways like those in these three examples need to have bright lighting for safety. Even so, we were able to replace 4 fluorescent tubes with 2 LED tubes and actually slightly increase the light output compared to what was previously installed. Removed 4 fluorescent tubes (34 Watts each) Replaced with 2 LED tubes (17 Watts each) Minimum Energy Savings Starting energy of 2x34 = 136 Watts Ending energy of 2 x17 = 34 Watts Savings = 68-34 = 102 Watts / fixture 102 / 136 = 75% energy savings! |
